8 week sono

Guess I'm really late with this update... since I will be 9 weeks tomorrow... Last week was busy for me... I had the sono on Tuesday, all day (and I do mean all day) trip to San Antonio on Wednesday, day off to recover on Thursday plus my nurses visit to my new OB\GYN, work on Friday even though I was still exhausted. UGH!

OK, back to Tuesday, they rescheduled my sono for afternoon so my MIL went with me. She was really excited to see the heartbeat! Baby was doing great. At 7 weeks(measured at 6 wks 6 days) it .85 cm long, at this one (measured at 7 wks 4 days) it was 1.33 cm long... little one is growing! So excited to see tomorrows size!! They are gonna also start to wean me off all of the hormones... I'm hoping that will mean good things! I sure have noticed that I am alot more moody and mean feeling late in the evening.. hopefully getting off the meds will help with that.

Chris and I were talking last night before we went to bed and it occurred to me that I have gotten spoiled to seeing the baby every week on sono and that its possible after tomorrow I won't get to as often anymore. BOO!

Wednesday was just a really long awful day... spent way too many hours at the airport, plane home was delayed on top of all the weather that made all 4 flights bumpy.

So on Thursday, I was able to meet the nurses at the new doctor we've chosen, this is the same doctor that delivered all 3 of my sisters kiddos and Amiee loved him. I am excited to actually go for my first appt, maybe we will get to hear the heartbeat!

Hopefully I will be more on top of the next update!

Psalm 37:4
Take delight in the LORD,

and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Our Weekend

So this last weekend, Chris got a weekend away with his dad and brother... so me and the boys spent the whole weekend together! We really had a great time.

Friday night, we went out to eat at a new deli... The Smiling Moose Deli. It was our first and last time! We were not impressed. The crazy thing is that the boys and I love delis. Lots of times when its just us, our first  choice is either Subway, McAlisters or Jasons. Sadly the Smiling Moose wont make our list. After dinner we headed to Target, I needed a big plastic tote to put baby stuff in. (my sister is already shopping!!!) After that we went to Hastings and got a movie. We watched Crazy Stupid Love. It cracks me up that my boys will watch chick flicks with me. It was alright, nothing to rave about! Time with the boys though was awesome!

Saturday morning we got up and started out the day pretty lazy.I cleaned out 1 of the hall closets, organized the baby stuff I have in the tote and felt pretty accomplished! Christian had gotten enough money to get a new pair of shoes, Nike Air Max, so we had to make a trip to the mall after we had lunch at our favorite place...

Olive Garden. The boys and I love Italian food, Chris not so much! So that's another place we like to go when its just us! Yummo! After that we decided to go to a movie, but there was nothing showing in Midland that we could all agree on so off to Odessa. We saw Darkest Hour. Basically it was about an alien invasion and the young adults who saved the day! I don't really know why we chose that but it was decent! We headed home, Ryan spent the night and our sweet friend Sybil spent the evening with us as well. I made dinner and we watched another movie. This time it was Contagion. Another end of the world type movie only this time it was a disease.

Sunday shouldve been a lazy day but it wasn't. We met my mom in Odessa for lunch to drop off Ryan. (He's staying with her for awhile) Came home, Kaden went to his Grandmommy's house and I started laundry. Chris made it home late that afternoon and then he took us to dinner at Chilis. Again Yummo!

Whew... somewhere in all of that I managed to get a nap in everyday and cleaned out the other hall closet. I finally organized all my craft and gift wrapping stuff! Yay me!!!

7 week Sono

Tuesday we had our 7 week sono... it was in the afternoon and I didn't think it was ever going to be time to go. My sister and my very sweet hubby went with me... We didn't have to wait long this time. I had to do my normal pee in a cup and then get naked from the waist down. Josie who has been with me since the beginning came in and took my blood pressure, said it was good. I asked her if she could tell me how the other 3 ladies did that were in my IVF rotation... she said I am the only one who made it this far. That's bittersweet news. I am sad for them but OVERJOYED me and Chris!

Ok... on to the sono. Dr B came in with her trusty wand friend, she immediately found the heart beat. The other sac (baby B) wasn't to be seen. Makes me a little sad but I wont let it burst my happiness with Baby A! Both Amiee and Chris saw the heart beat immediately but I couldn't from my position on the bed. They turned the screen for me and right there it was... my sweet little baby's heart beat going strong! It was surreal, still feels that way! I am so very thankful for God's unfailing love and blessings everyday!

baby is at the bottom between the * and *!
When I got home my super sweet hubby had already beaten me home and this was waiting on my side of the bed.

the card says Vonda (new mother to be)
Yeah, he's a keeper. I love him so much and couldn't have done this whole process without him or his support. I can't wait to see his face when he meets this baby for the first time!

Psalms 127:3-5
Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.
Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.
They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.

Crazy Dreams

I have woken up to the craziest dreams lately... I read somewhere that pregnancy does that to you but seriously... It seems that whatever I watch on TV the night before is directly impacting my sleep world...

Last night before I went to sleep I watched Pretty Little Liars... yeah those girls were all over my dreams... the crazy thing is that I don't really remember it now, I just remember waking up and knowing I was dreaming about Aria, Spencer, Hannah and Emily.

Night before last it was Sons of Anarchy and Brad Paisley. This dream I actually remember but sadly neither Jax nor the real Brad were present. Just SOA drama and Gemma! But just in case you were wondering why I was a little disappointed to not have either of those guys visit my dreams...

Jax

Brad

Before that it was some crazy creepy dream from the book I am reading...

I have my 7 week sono today. My sister and Chris will both be there. If all is well we are telling Chris' dad (Kevin) tonight as well. Lots of people already know either by accident or cause we've let the cat outta the bag a little early. We haven't told our niece Genesis yet, we were waiting to tell Kevin first. So tonight we will tell a few more but still not publicly announce it til we are 12 weeks.

6 Week Sono

So we had our 6 week sonogram on Tuesday... lots of information to process. First off... there are 2 sacs. Which is bittersweet, one is smaller (baby B) than the other. The biggest one (baby A) measured 5 weeks 6 days which is great, its right where we should be. Baby B was quite a bit smaller and Dr B didn't seem very optimistic about it. She said with Baby A there was a fetal pole  and a heart beat, although it was slow, so all of that was good news. We will repeat the sono next Tuesday, hopefully we will see a strong heart beat and know what to expect with baby B.

I got the feeling she was a little disappointed mostly with the news that I was only 6 weeks, in her mind for some reason she thought I was 6 weeks 4 days. Which ironically 4 days is significant. I read on the What to Expect When you are Expecting website that at 6 weeks the baby has grown 10,000 times what it was at conception. Incredible!

Deuteronomy 28:4
The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock--the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

PSALM 127:3-5

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is His reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.

Still Preggers

Its really weird for me to say that... I am still in a little bit of shock even though my numbers on Tuesday came back a lot higher than doubled... I was at 34 last Thursday, on Tuesday the numbers would have needed to be 136 to have doubled and then doubled again... mine were 176.8. Praise God for blessings above and beyond! I was really mean to my sis and my bff... when i called both of them my first words were... "well my numbers didn't double." Amiee was speechless and Mandy was like... "hold on wait, what?" I gave in pretty quick with both of them and said "actually... they did better than double!" I know, it was mean but if I have to stress and analyze every twinge I feel, I might have some fun somewhere!

Last week I was making crock pot lasagna for dinner and when I pulled all of my ingredients out... this was the spaghetti sauce that i had bought... love it!

I've been thinking about ways to announce on facebook... so I may use this along with some other innuendos! I just have to think of some!

1 Thessalonians 5:18
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Christmas

So I'm a horrible mom and didn't take many pictures at Christmas... I guess its the excitement of it for me... I get carried away at my boys opening their presents and tend to forget to snap the pictures!

Kaden Kent and his pile!

Christian Von

Ryan Scott and half of Chris!

Christmas Eve was nice, kinda relaxing, just hanging out at home. Ryan spent the night, they were all dying to open one present... because I am a pushover (thats what Chris says anyway) I let them open their stockings and then Santa came early because I have a great hookup! Also I let Chris, Christian and Kaden open the Brad Paisley tickets... I was pretty sneaky with this one, Chris was of course in on it! i wrapped the tickets in a small box with all 3 of their names on it, wrapped it in a box for Kaden which was inside a box wrapped for Christian which was inside a box wrapped for Chris... I loved the expressions on their faces as they were passing the boxes around! The concert is not til February but they are excited!

We had a great Christmas morning, all 3 of my boys were together. We got up early, opened presents, and then went to church, it was a nice service. We enjoyed being in the house of God on Jesus' birthday! We had lunch at Chris' moms house and then opened presents there. Later that night we went to his dad's house for dinner. All in all a great day!

A couple days after Christmas we spent the day with my sister and my 2 nieces and nephew! The kids all had a great time!
